Description

The EZ Texture Inks are for applications that require a raised, embossed, or 3-dimensional look. The EZ Texture Inks are available as UV curable:
Flexo ink (MSA9025)
Flatbed Screen ink (MSA9015)
Rotary Screen ink (MSA9020)
The fully cured resin has great abrasion resistance with very little residual color. The cured resin does not yellow post curing. The EZ Texture inks are relatively fast curing and will generate a slight exothermic reaction during cure.

Application Suggestions

Flat Screen: 100, 160, 96, or 72 mesh for printing between 0.5 – 2.0 mils in coat height

Rotary Screen: Stork RM75, Gallus DW, or SPS 80 for printing 1.25 mils in coat height

Thread Diameter: 100 microns (0.1mm), Twill weave

Flexo: 50 line / 50 bcm anilox with doctor blade or 14 bcm without doctor blade

Cure Speed: 50 - 100 ft/min with 300 watt/in lamps (dependent upon coating thickness)

The EZ Texture inks have a low viscosity to facilitate ease of dispensing. Soft and rubbery textures can be achieved with under-curing. Compatibility of the ink, coating and stock should be determined prior to production runs.

Storage and Handling

The product requires stirring prior to use. The shelf-life is 6 months when stored away from heat and protected from UV light exposure. The material is combustible and should not be used near open flame. Store below 32°C (90°F). Best when used within three months from product Lot Number date on label.
