In addition to supplying the traditional holograms that are ubiquitous throughout the industry, the SANDS-SECURE^® holograms provide additional security measures.

Standard security holograms printed on tamper evident stock.

Utilizing Electron Beams (E-Beam) microscopic or even nano-scopic text and images can be imbedded within the hologram for verification at a later date. The minute nature of the images make them impossible to use as an original for unauthorized duplicates.

A $15 field microscope is used to verify the nan-text in this hologram.

Laser Refraction Hidden Images are a feature unique to SANDS-SECURE^® holograms. Using a simple $5 laser pointer, the field agent irradiates a target spot on the hologram. A secret image is refracted onto an adjacent perpendicular surface, verifying its authenticity. Just as with nano-text security features, this microscopic hidden image is too small to be copied effectively, thereby defeating counterfeiters.
This is also one of the SANDS-SECURE^® "Ease Of Detection" features that make field training painless.

A simple laser pointer is used to reveal the hidden image in a SANDS-SECURE^® hologram.
