Perforated metallic holographic mesh with tunable transparency developed for maximizing the resistance of polycarbonate ID documents (E-passports, ID cards) against counterfeiting. Unique high-end solution combining the crucial properties of ID document security solutions with optically variable features, i.e. the transparency of standard lamination foils and the excellent optical performance of metallized holographic foils. It extends the quality of standard DOVIDs used in polycarbonate sandwich via superb delamination resistance and long-term stability of optical brilliance. OVMesh™ is supplied as a prelaminate polycarbonate sheet suitable for standard lamination with other polycarbonate sheets forming the sandwiched polycarbonate ID document.
